ROLL OF MERIT

The Animal Talent Academy of Australia maintains a Roll of Merit (ROM) scheme.  The ROM was designed to record and recognise meritorious performance and achievement by animals in Australia. There are two categories within the Roll of Merit, a category for living animals (ROM) and a Memorial Roll of Merit (MROM) for animals that are deceased.

The scheme is open to any animal residing in Australia.

Owners pay a once only nomination fee to have their application reviewed by ATA Assessors.

To submit an application for the ROM and MROM awards

There are no set criteria rules or questions for the ROM, rather each application is assessed on the animals own individual achievements, recognising them within their chosen sport, discipline, talent and skill set.

To apply for either of the ROM Awards, complete the form below OR send an email to animalactorsau@gmail.com with as much information as you can about your animal, and why you would like them to be for this prestigious award. Information to include in your email: 

• Owners Name (include phone, email and address)

• Animals Name (include Registered name and association if applicable, date of birth, species, breed)

• A description of the Animals achievements and why you believe they should be considered 

• Any documents, photos or links to videos to support your application. Documents can include titles/awards from other associations or competition results.

Once we have reviewed your application we will contact you to advise the outcome. If successful, you will be required to pay the $55 ROM scheme fee which includes registration into the ATA Roll of Merit, listing on the ATA website and ROM Certificate and Rosette mailed to you at the address you supply. The ROM scheme is open to Australian addresses only.

Applications for the ATA ROM are open for submission, and the ATA encourages all owners to strive to reach this ultimate award.
